Unique Make-Up Technique That's Hot in Hollywood!

THE MONET SALON VELVET SPRAY!!!

In my years 35 years in the beauty business, I’ve gone through the thrill ride of discovering, at the same time learning, clever ideas to create beauty.

Interestingly enough, clients I have worked with always emphasize how they want a makeover that doesn’t look like they have been “made over.”

And I agree with them. I am a big proponent of the “natural look” because it is timeless and classy.

When you see women celebrities in Hollywood, especially during the recently concluded awards season, don’t you ever think to yourself—wow, they must have done something to their face to make it look so radiant, but it doesn’t really look they have make-up on!

Their skin appears to have a flawless finish, and yet without the obvious, cake-y foundation.

Well, the secret lies in the make-up technique—called airbrush—that until recently was only used by professional film and television make-up artists to achieve long-lasting make-up that can withstand harsh and heavy studio lighting.

Celebrities wear airbrush make-up to the red carpet to have that picture perfect shot. When you see Jennifer Lopez in all her contoured glory with nary a tan line, chances are, that’s the airbrush technique at work!

Nowadays, when people hear airbrush, they think it means modifying a rough photo through the graphic software called Adobe Photoshop.

To make-up artists, however, airbrush means something else. It is the make-up technique that can create a flawless finish that can stay fresh for hours and hours, far longer than ordinary make-up.

After conducting my own research and undergoing some training on airbrush make-up, I have developed my own version, The Velvet Spray: AirGloss Shimmer Flawless Airbrush Make-Up Technique (now available in my Panorama City salons).

With aid of my state-of-the-art compressor, versatile action airbrush and hi-def kit, The Velvet Spray can be applied on any skin tone.

The beauty of The Velvet Spray is that it blends naturally with any skin color. As it’s sprayed on, the gentle foundation takes the color of your skin’s natural pigmentation. That’s why it looks so natural.

The Velvet Spray airbrush make-up creates a flawless pixilated coverage that can remain fresh throughout the day.

What I really love about The Velvet Spray is that when you’re done, your face matches the color of your neckline, hands and ears. You can’t achieve that with much success using ordinary make-up.

Besides seamless continuity, The Velvet Spray can also be used to contour and highlight any part of the face to add dimension.

The Velvet Spray also effectively conceals blemishes and it has the ability to uplift the face.

I am so excited to share this beauty trend to all my fabulous kababayans.
